What is polyester resin?

While in the production of unsaturated polyester resin, the reaction between unsaturated dicarboxylic acids takes place. Looking at the differences further, saturated polyester resin is mainly used in the production of coil coatings while unsaturated polyester resin is useful in the production of sheet molding compound, bulk molding compound, netters and laser printers.
